Yes, but I don't recall putting in a checkbox next to corrections. And why is the position now called correctional police officer?

I received one, but my rank is so insanely high I am not sure if it's even worth responding to.

I was rank 1500 last year and I almost got hired, I deferred because I got hired by a county department.

I am pretty close to that number, a little below actually. I imagine the list will dwindle as people defer. Has JJC followed suit with NJDOC with allowing their graduates to carry out of the academy instead of waiting a year?

I just graduated with JJC last month. I was rank #765 when I got my cert and through people not wanting the job, deferring, or being DQed, I’m ranked #6 in my class. Don’t be scared off by a seemingly high number. Yes, JJC can now carry straight out of the academy as soon as you qualify with your off duty weapon. I graduated on the 17th of July but can’t carry yet because I haven’t qualified with my off duty yet. I get to qualify next week tho so it’ll be almost exactly a month from graduation till I can actually carry. Any other questions you guys may have, feel free to ask

Is this job like NJDOC but juvenile? Like same salary and pay freeze and all or what? Just not sure how great of a job it is or isnt.
