Real Practice for Camden Alt Route Exam in Abington PA

I'll try to give tips like this as they become available. ANYONE who figures on competing for the Camden County Police Academy Alternate Route program is well advised to sign up for and take the Abington, PA Police Department exam for $45.

It will be held on March 10th (one month before Camden ARP) and they are using what should be the same type of difficult test (NCJOSI -I v2 - 2.5 hour exam). The "practice effect" is real in testing, so I HIGHLY recommend it as a warm up to Camden ARP.

I have been deluged with students from PA for the test prep, so Abington must be a pretty good process and run with a lot of candidates testing. Abington, PA is in the Philadelphia area, so not a challenge to get to on test day.

Whether you're ever one of my students or not, I'll try to keep everyone advised of opportunities to compete. I update my "Current Testing" page http://www.ccstest.com/upcoming-tests/ daily as a resource and Raven is doing a great job of posting the PTC cert required openings on this site.

I have scheduled a FREE 3-hour Informational Seminar out at the Camden County Police Academy for Sunday, March 18, 2018, to provide candidates about the different types of tests and test questions being used in NJ for entry-level and the varying processes and resources available to candidates. Registration is require: http://www.ccstest.com/free-information ... e-testing/.

Each attendee will receive a booklet of sample test questions and valuable information. The program is totally free for attendees. It is evident the Bergen (Mahwah), Union (Kenilworth), and Monmouth (Tinton Falls) sessions will close out. The Camden free session may be the last one I am able to do for a while, but I intend to schedule more.

The slots from the September 2018 test have been awarded for the upcoming class. The next application period for the Camden County College Alternate Route exam will open on Monday, January 14, 2019, via https://www.policeapp.com/NJ-Camden-Cou ... tment/839/
The application period is set to end on April 8, 2019 (or first 160 applicants) with the test likely being in April for the Summer of 2019 class. They generally look to award 8 non-vet and 8 vet slots per class.
There is a huge misconception that this academy is in Camden City. It is part of the Camden County College and is actually in rural Blackwood, NJ near the Gloucester County border. They commonly use the 2.5 hour IOS exam, and unlike the other counties, they test every six months.

Did they send out any notice after the psych? We concluded the psych on Wednesday and haven’t heard anything from them afterwards
