The Abington Township Police department is now accepting applications online for their upcoming entry-level police officer examination. More information and links can be found at http://www.ccstest.com/abington-townshi ... lice-exam/.

This exam is worth NJ resident registering, since it is $45, open to everyone (U.S. Citizens), and involves the use of the NCJOSI v2 which is one of the two types of "Chief's Exams" that will be used throughout this year in New Jersey. Since this exam is the newest type of test offered by IOS for the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NCJOSI), it is definitely worth the time an effort to sit for this exam for, at a minimum, practice and exposure to this very, very challenging test.

The Abington Police Department is only a few minutes from North Philadelphia, so it is a reasonable distance to drive for the exam. Remember, you will have limited opportunities to sit for this 2.5 hour version of the NCJOSI v2, and no shortage of NJ Departments will be using it along with a few of the Alternate Route programs throughout this year.
