I feel for all of them.....I heard they are given a choice transfer to Essex County or State Corrections

what happens to those with rank of Sgt or higher, do they retain their rank?

I’ve been informed that they are losing their rank. I don’t know about pay though.

well that sucks.....Sgt and above could be sent back to officer

back in 2001 0r 2002 union county guards were absorbed by NJDOC . they retained their seniority as well as pay . so my guess is same will happen .. a maxed out officer from union is over $100k .. will the salary carry over ? thats a question someone should ask Pba 105 im sure they already know!
