hey all not to beat a dead horse but I wouldn't get too concerned about the frequency or infrequency you speak to your investigator, like Ghost23 said every investigator will probably approach it differently also my investigator informed me that some people got detatched from their normal jobs just to focus on this and some (like mine) had it given as an additional duty so that also could play a factor. But like I said no worries fam I'm sure you all will be good to go.

Just had my home visit. Went well I believe... Just went over a few tiny things in my packet...signed the last sheet again in my BIQ packet. If anything was more an informative meeting. One of my neighbors also got a visit just a few simple questions there. Now wait again

Good Friday All!

My 2nd time around in the BIQ, made it to the CRB 2019. Did not make it past that. I’ve been keeping up with everyone’s input. For all that, this is the first time, know that every single interaction is in Business Attire and Man-Shaved, Female-Military Pony Tail no Long Nails. No room for errors.
Representation/Appearance is noted.

I didn’t have this issue from day one on my last process. Simple Suit; Black-White Shirt-Black Tie or Navy Blue(I switched it for different occasions to vary, just my preference). Black Shoes Black/Navy Socks. Done deal. Every interaction I was well dressed - how - they expect.
-Remember “The OutFit” is indeed a Business Attire.

I’m currently in the process again with you guys.
Just know that the BIQ is intense and requires a lot of time. Patience. This process is called “hurry up and wait”. We are on their time and is what we want. When they want something, do what ever it takes to get it, and just wait after that. Everything is with timing, they also have a deadline to follow just like we do to schedule certain things.

Keep an eye on Email/Text/Phone. At all times. I was contacted on a Saturday through phone for information. So don’t relax on the weekends.

Most importantly for everyone and specially who are in this BIQ for class 162. Stay FIT; Nutrition and Physically Active! August is 4 months away. Which is very closed. Don’t over-do-it. Calisthenics and Condition. YouTube this and you’ll be ok. NJSP academy is extremely hard for almost everyone, it helps to go in as ready as you can.

Once we are In the Medical Phase who ever gets to that point, I would like to start a workout-group! Central/North/South Jersey. Meet at least 1-2 a week-end, until the start of academy. Who ever is willing to do so female or male we are all the same!.

Those are my 2cents. I don’t write much but I wanted to put that out there.

If anyone starts a WHATSAPP GROUP.
Start it only if you are in the BIQ phase for 162 and the sky is blue, if you believe you’ll move to the CRB.

Good Luck to us all!. :D

Great post. I say wait until COE's are received before starting the Text Chat Group. I'd also be all for meeting up for PT up til academy. Would be down for South jersey meets.

Yes I agree for the chat, post CRB/COE's which would be the Medical Phase.
-PT with the future recruits/classmates is never a negative. I look forward to it.
*I'm in central Jersey so I would go either way, to meet up with multiple groups!.

Just for references a good app to meet that intent might be slack, that way we can make a general chat and then separate sub chats within the same interface for different pt groups or other things that might need it's own separate break out chat

Red-
I agree 100% with Slack- its a great tool and can serve many purposes for us.
We can set up a overall group and then a North PT group and a South PT group, etc.
When we are ready- we should use that.

Chargers01 & RedLeg2015.
-Interesting, I wasn't aware of this app. Who ever moves on shall definitely give it a try..

Quick thought.
-Has anyone thought of applying for this current cycle at the moment (2021-Application). Even though we are in the BIQ phase for 2020..
I thought about, and why not...
As confidence we may be, if 500 of us are great at BIQ and CRB, they can really only choose about 200 for academy.
-On top of that, we aren't even sure when the next application is takin place.

If anyone has a great relationship with their investigator, or is passed the BIQ-investigator in-person interview. Would be great if you can ask. Based on the outcome of that interview.

Unless someone knows something I do not. Please enlighten me/us.

Thanks in advance. :)

thought about the same thing today too...just put it in cause if you make it this time...obviously you'll just withdraw from that new app. Cut off is the 23rd which is also the same day all the finalized background reports are due lolll Right when we got the email for fingerprinting it was 500 names or so....but also take into consideration the ppl that passed their CRB in the summer/fall 2020 that got deferred to start 162 rather 161. How many slots are taken by them?? lol

Touché on the deferred. Idc if I'm tossed in 163, as long as I'm in! I believe the open app period this time will have wayyy more apps than ours did. Hopefully they speed the CRB part up and offers. Theres a other agency I'm close with as well, but I much rather have state.
